Collateral damage from non-stop crying record

Tembu Ebere wept for seven days straight, as he promised. However, his defiance ended up taking a toll on his health.

To the BBC, the man claimed that he was partially blind for 45 minutes, in addition, he had headaches, swelling in his face and eyes.

Despite having done the full challenge on social media, Tembu has not officially registered with Guinness World Records. Therefore, he will not receive the certificate from the institution. To achieve the world record title, one needs to apply and perform live.

Anyway, the comedian has decided that he's going to keep trying his strategy of cry longer. On his TikTok profile, he continues to share several videos in which he appears crying.

On the web, internet users encouraged Ebere during the challenge so that he wouldn't give up. Many even sent messages like “Go, man, you can do it”.

On the other hand, other people have stated, perhaps jokingly, that they have cried for much longer in real life.
