With a view to providing a permanent staff for the portfolio, the Ministry of Education (MEC) published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU) this this Wednesday (9), public notice no. 1/2023, for a tender that will make 220 vacancies available for the position of technician in Educational. The test is expected to be held on the 8th of October.
The purpose of the initiative is to promote the recomposition of MEC's workforce, delayed by civil servants' retirements and staff transfers to other bodies, not to mention that the Ministry's last contest to fill higher-level positions took place, almost 20 years ago, in 2004.

In this regard, the expectation of the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs at the MEC, Jussara Cardoso, is that these new civil servants “can directly contribute to the strengthening of policies educational”.
As a requirement, the candidate must present a certificate of completion of an undergraduate degree at the higher education, in any area of training, provided by a higher education institution recognized by the MEC.
Of the 220 vacancies foreseen, 165 will be open to competition, 11 for candidates with disabilities and another 44 for blacks. Indication for the type of vacancy must be made only at the time of registration, followed by the submission of documentation specified in the public notice.
As for remuneration, given the fulfillment of a weekly workload of 40 hours, the candidate will be entitled to a remuneration of BRL 6,255.90, in which BRL 2,419.90 is considered basic salary, plus R$ 3,836.00, referring to the Performance Bonus of the General Plan for Positions of the Executive Branch (CDPGPE).
of registration – Registration can be made, from the 9th to the 28th of August, through the Cebraspe website (Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisa em Evaluation and Selection and Promotion of Events), upon payment of a fee of BRL 80, except for those who request exemption.
At the time of registration, the candidate will have to inform the number of his Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF), in addition to send, by digital means, a photograph taken in the last six months, prior to the date of publication of the notice. In the photo image, the head (not covered) must appear beyond the shoulders of the candidate.
Exemption request – In the specific case of exemption, it can be requested by candidates who have a Single Registry (CadÚnico) – supported by Decree nº 6.593/ 2008 and nº 11.016/2022 – or those who are bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health, according to Law nº 13.656/2018.
Such request must be met by sending supporting documentation, as specified in the tender notice. If your request for exemption is rejected, the candidate will have to pay the Union Collection Guide (GRU) by September 11, according to what is established in the public notice.
