However, it is worth noting that the feature operates, for now, exclusively with Apple's AirTag trackers.
The highlight of such a solution lies in its scope: it covers a wide range of devices android, released since 2016.
The proposal is simple and effective: alert when a spy tracker is present, offering guidance on how to neutralize it and even identify its owner.

Google has launched the new feature to prevent these devices, although useful for locating lost objects, from being tracked by individuals without the owners' consent.
The system displays notifications and instructions when it detects the presence of an unknown tracker, encouraging the user to take protective measures.
Although valid only for the AirTag, this is not a problem, due to the lack of competition in the area. Samsung is already launching SmartTag, but Google's tool is not yet valid for it.
The user is able to proactively scan for trackers, providing a detailed explanation about disabling the tracker and identifying the owner, if the user chooses to investigate deep.
This feature can be activated in this way: access the menu, under “Settings” (usually the gear icon). Then select the “Security and Emergency” option.
With that, a message will appear as a popup, warning about the presence of an unknown tracker.
Thus, it will be possible to identify the tracker, force it to make some noise for you to find or even visualize it on the map for how long you were followed.
The tool not only alerts you to the presence of unauthorized trackers, but also highlights the importance of digital privacy awareness.
