According to reports, the boy was playing near a river when he found the spider near a rock.
At the same moment, Henry picked up the black widow and purposely placed it on the back of his right hand so that the sting would generate the same superpower seen in the spider man movie.
After the bite, the child returned to his home and decided not to tell anyone about the arachnid accident. However, about two to three hours later, the symptoms of poison, such as bone pain, swelling and spasms, began to appear.
Concerned, his mother insisted that Henry tell what happened, so he reported the arachnid bite.
As soon as he learned about the spider, the boy was taken by his mother for medical attention at the health center in a neighboring town. But, because of the seriousness of the situation, the child was referred to San Juan de Dios General Hospital.
In addition, the hospital had to request the follow-up of the head of the local Zoonoses Center, Ernesto Vásquez.
Luckily, the moment he was bitten, Henry decided to keep the spider in a glass jar. The attitude facilitated the identification of the species and, consequently, the antidote that would be applied to help the child.

“We are extremely concerned because the analysis and the questions asked to the child when he was already recovered draws us to the attention he would have created the arachnid with a simple purpose, indicating that he wanted to become Spider-Man", informed Ernesto Vásquez to the news portal El Business.
After all the scare, Henry's health stabilized and he is now home. Doctors reported that Henry's mother commented on how much the child was a fan of Spider-Man movies.
Although it seems like a joke, the black widow is one of the spiders that most attract the attention of the little ones, because of the striking colors, informed the head of the Zoonoses Center.
That's why Ernesto Vásquez appealed to parents to talk to children under 11 about the dangers of arachnids.
