Duet AI is the generative AI tool that will be applied in Google Workspace. That is, all Google applications that make up the desktop platform will receive this technology.
Its official name will be Duet AI for Google Workspace and the feature will help the user in the production of texts, organization, workflow and meetings, according to the official statement.
The new technology will be in Google apps:
Gmail;
Google Cloud;
Documents;
Presentations;
Spreadsheets;
Google Meet.
Through command prompts, people will be able to use the AI in each of the technology multinational's products.
In addition, the main professionals who will benefit from the new workspace are people who work with: marketing, text production, customer service and data analysis.

Text production: Built to streamline essays, Duet AI will correct, tone-refine, and suggest words in Google apps;
Data analysis: Google's new spreadsheet technology has fast, automatic capabilities for making predictions, sorting data, and defining work patterns from the context of cells;
Creating presentations: the feature creates complete presentations integrated with Google Docs with images, notes and relevant text;
Image creation: in Slides, the feature will create imagesexclusive from a few words for presentations and other purposes.
Despite having been announced, the Duet AI product is still under development and is expected to be released by the end of the year.
However, the developers reported that the feature already appears indirectly in the main applications we use today, such as making corrections and suggestions in Gmail texts and in the Google Docs.
At the moment, the new tool already has a queue to be tested by selected people.
