Stop and think about your Super heroes favorites from comics or movies. What is their origin? I bet most of them come from the United States or somewhere in Europe.
However, although it is not that publicized, the publishers of these hero stories have already created some Brazilian “supers”. Did you know?

Of course, some representations were a little stereotypical, but who knows, maybe it's the beginning of something better to come? Dreaming doesn't pay taxes, right?
Check out 6 “brigadeiro eaters” below that DC Comics has already included in its stories!
Jaguar
In the DC universe, some characters have already been Jaguars. One, in specific, was Rafael Hardy. Don't let the surname confuse you, as it is Brazilian.
The young man appeared in the stories for the first time in 2010, however his narrative is very shallow and did not last long. His last appearance was in 2011.

Yara Flor
This is a very interesting character. Yara Flor came from a tribe of Amazon and has already been treated as the new Wonder Woman. Her stories also portray some creatures from our folklore, such as the Curupira and the Caipora.

Wavelength
Unfortunately (or fortunately!), Brazil has also exported villains. One of them was Eduardo Reyes, the wicked Wavelenght — also known as Espoleta.
He first appeared in 1995. A few issues later, she appeared asking the Teen Titans for help to find her daughter, also from our hometown, called Allegra Garcia.

Grison
Another villain, or rather villain, “caipirinha drinker” was Grisão. Gabriela Matias was a Brazilian scientist specializing in ferrets, weasels and similar animals.
And… you guessed it: an experiment went wrong and she fused with one of these animals. In the mutation, her mind was fragmented and she became a supervillain, acting alongside the Joker in some comics.

Fire
This, perhaps, is one of the Brazilian DC characters best known to fans. Fogo, whose legal name is Beatriz Bonilla da Costa, was a model, but gained the power to transform her body into fire. The heroine has already become part of the Justice League International.

Scandal
Vandal Savage, a well-known DC Comics villain, has traveled to various places around the world. In one of these adventures, he had a daughter with a Brazilian woman. From the union, the anti-heroine and, at times, supervillain, Scandal Savage was born.
