In July 1954, a man arrived at the International Airport of Tokyo and presented his passport, which had been issued by a country called Taured.
The document had all the characteristics of a legal passport, including visas from other countries. However, no Japanese official was able to identify the man's birthplace. Therefore, they decided to interrogate this peculiar individual.
Due to the delay in release, the man began to offer other explanations about his country of origin and even indicated on the map that the place was in a region close to Spain. Furthermore, the man was multilingual, speaking several languages, including French and Japanese.

During the initial investigation, the man stated that he was in the Asian country for work, however, no company was found to confirm the link.
Likewise, his records were examined and information about the country was requested, but always without a concrete answer in the records. Because of this, the Japanese authorities decided to detain him to find further clarification.
So, he was taken to a hotel, where he was watched by guards at the door. However, the next day, watchmen discovered that the man had completely disappeared, leaving no clue as to his stay.
The situation was made even more intriguing by the fact that he was staying on a high floor, with no balcony to allow him to escape.

This explanation was adopted for many years, but in 2021, a group specializing in fact-checking decided to investigate the mysterious case. To them, the entire event was actually a fraud by a man named John Allen Zegrus.
According to the analysis, John created the world of Taured and forged documents to be able to freely move around the world. However, his journey ended in 1960 when he was arrested in Japan for entering the country with a false passport.
Despite the explanation, to this day, the legend about the traveler from the parallel universe continues to intrigue the world through the impressive passage of the 'Taured Man' in 1954.
