The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, also detailed other new Artificial Intelligence products (AI) consumer-facing platforms and commented on continued efforts to build a metaverse immersive.
Technology enthusiasts can expect the new glasses to arrive on the market from October 17th, with a price set at US$299 — approximately R$1510, in direct conversion.

During the Meta Connect conference, Zuckerberg announced that Quest's latest mixed reality headset will be available to the public starting October 10th.
Additionally, the company's CEO introduced the first consumer-facing generative Artificial Intelligence products.
Among them, the Meta AI chatbot stands out, capable of generating text responses and producing photorealistic images.
“It’s not just about answering questions, but also about providing entertainment and facilitating connections with people,” said Zuckerberg.
The billionaire displayed photographs produced by the technology, which portrayed everything from a dinosaur as a pet to transformations in the style of his dog Beast's fur.
The CEO reinforced the company's commitment to making new technologies accessible. “A big part of this innovation is ensuring that such technologies are within everyone’s reach,” he highlighted.
He emphasized that developing innovative products available to everyone is an essential priority for the company.
It is worth noting that Meta Connect represents the company's first in-person conference since the beginning of the pandemic, marking a significant moment for the technology community.

In partnership with Microsoft's Bing search engine, the chatbot will be able to access information in real time, as announced by Zuckerberg.
Expanding interactivity, Meta is creating a platform where both developers and the public will be able to create personalized AI bots. These tools will have profiles on Facebook and Instagram and, in the future, will appear as avatars in the metaverse.
Their diversity was highlighted through the creation of 28 chatbots with varied personalities, associated with celebrity voices, such as: Charli D’Amelio, Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady.
As an example, football player Sam Kerr inspired the creation of Sally, described as a “free-spirited friend”.
Another highlight of the announcement was the arrival of Xbox cloud gaming on Quest in December. Meta, which previously unveiled the Quest 3 headset in the summer, will compete with products like Apple's Vision Pro, priced at $3,500.
However, the Quest 3, priced from $500, features innovative mixed reality technology, launched first on Quest Pro, Meta's premium device, providing users with a video view of the real world around you.
