Under the leadership of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, the company chose LoveFrom, a company founded by Ive after his notable stint at Apple, to design this innovative consumer-facing device.
Sources revealed that Sam Altman and Jony Ive are already involved in brainstorming sessions, but product development is still in the early stages.
SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son reportedly participated in some of these discussions and raised the possibility of offering financial support to the project.
There are also considerations about the possible integration of Arm, a chip design company that is largely controlled by the Japanese technology investment management group.
