2. Understand that each relationship is unique

It's natural for our brains to try to protect us by bringing up painful memories or making us generalize past experiences.

However, each relationship is unique. Just because you've had a complicated relationship in the past doesn't mean everyone will be like that. Give the new a chance and see each person as they are, without shadows of the past.

3. Communicate your feelings

One of the keys to a healthy relationship is open and honest communication. If you are feeling vulnerable or insecure, share your feelings with your partner.

4. Develop self-knowledge

6. Take care of yourself

Loving again does not mean forgetting yourself. Take care of your physical, emotional and mental well-being.

When we feel good about ourselves, we have more to offer a partner and the relationship is more likely to be healthy and successful.

7. Trust in time

Time is a great healer. While it may be tempting to jump into a new relationship quickly, remember that it's okay to take things one step at a time.

Appreciate every moment, and if you feel like you're not ready to take the next step, listen to your intuition and give yourself more. time to heal.
