The brand Stanley has a history of more than a century in the production of thermal cups, but it was only in recent years that it gained a special place in the hearts of Brazilians.
As of 2018, the company PMI Worldwide, which owns Stanley, has seen an impressive 700% growth in its revenue in Latin America, driven mainly by sales of products for bars, including the famous thermal cups.

Now, the brand is launching a line called “Happy Hour,” which features two models specifically designed to maintain beer temperatures.
Items will now also include an anti-fraud seal that will help consumers in identifying the authenticity of the brand's products. This is because, as the brand became popular, piracy also gained strength.
The company, which has already sold approximately 10 million cups in Brazil, intensified its efforts to combat piracy, making annual investments ranging between R$4 million and R$5 million.
When Stanley arrived in Latin America, its main emphasis was on selling items designed for the consumption of yerba mate, with special attention to preserving the warm water temperature, particularly in Uruguay and Argentina.
In 2014, PMI acquired the Brazilian family company Aladdin, which provided the cup producer with an even larger distribution and logistics network.
The partnership allowed the Stanley brand to also be introduced in Brazil, especially in the south of the country, where products to keep water hot, such as thermos bottles, were very popular.

Over time, the Stanley brand began to gain prominence and attract the attention of Brazilians who prefer cold drinks.
The company's strategy, led by Andréa Martins, president of PMI Worldwide Latin America, involved associating its merchandise with Brazil's heat and outdoor activities.
She highlights that the brand's significant growth is due to the growing base of fans gained, as well as Brazil's position as the third largest beer consumer market in the world.
