Despite its popularity, ChatGPT faced a critical limitation, it only provided data access until September 2021.
However, OpenAI has been actively addressing this issue since March, and the company has officially announced the arrival of real-time searches in your Artificial Intelligence chatbot Generative (AI).

This functionality was first released at the end of September and marks a significant advance in the capabilities of this technology.
The most notable change is that the ChatGPT can now browse the web in search of information in real time, providing users with answers from “current and authorized sources” through the “Browse with Bing” function.
The functionality is currently exclusive to Plus and Enterprise plan subscribers, improving the quality of answers and allowing users to search for answers using images.
It is worth noting that OpenAI has not released a specific timeline for when this function will be available to all users.

The journey to implementing real-time search began in May when OpenAI teamed up with Microsoft's search engine, Bing.
The mobile version of ChatGPT received the feature first, at the end of June. However, it was temporarily disabled after it was discovered that it also displayed content from the paid version of Bing.
Such integration with Bing real-time web search demonstrates OpenAI's commitment to enhancing the capabilities of this technology.
Another significant announcement from OpenAI is the deployment of DALL-E 3 beta to ChatGPT. This is a text-to-image generator from OpenAI, which allows users to describe the desired image, then the tool generates the requested image.
With this integration, ChatGPT can now help create images based on user requests, streamlining the creative process.
Embedding DALL-E 3 directly into ChatGPT eliminates the need for people to switch between applications, making the experience more fluid and user-friendly.
DALL-E 3 is currently available in beta on web and mobile devices. Users can activate it by selecting the “DALL-E 3 (Beta)” option under the GPT-4 tab within ChatGPT.
The new developments are part of OpenAI's expansive vision for ChatGPT, aiming to transform it from a text-based generator into an all-in-one tool, including audio capability.
Last month, OpenAI introduced the ability to initiate verbal conversations with the chatbot, marking the company's ongoing commitment to improving its AI platform.
