The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) suspend advertising placement from the supplement brand “Xô Xuca”, according to a report from the UOL news portal.
The agency alleges that the company was promoting false advertising by linking the supplement to the replacement of “chuca”, anal cleaning which is also known as “enema”.

The brand also recommended supplementation for the therapeutic treatment of serious illnesses, which generated even greater consequences.
The company also stated that the product helped, for example, control blood glucose and cholesterol levels, reduced the risk of illnesses heart attacks, increased resistance to infections and even contributed to weight loss.
The product is described as supposedly agile in forming the fecal cake, thus managing to avoid the accumulation of waste in the intestine, which makes it possible to easily discard the chuca technique.
According to the health agency, the measure was taken with the intention of guaranteeing the integrity of the information conveyed and the safety of consumers.
Anvisa determination
Anvisa issued a determination requiring the company to cease its advertising activities on all its channels, including websites and social networks. The action extends to all advertising platforms under the company's responsibility.
