Imagine living a life of extreme isolation, locked inside your own home for around five decades due to “woman phobia”. Believe me, there is at least one documented case of a man suffering from this condition.
This is the reality of Callixte Nzamwita, a 71-year-old man from Rwanda who revealed that he has lived in seclusion since his adolescence due to a paralyzing fear of women.

Yes, it's incredible, but fear of women exists. Gynophobia, or gynecophobia, is a condition characterized by an irrational and extreme fear of female people.
Although not officially recognized as a mental disorder, for Callixte Nzamwita, this fear has been a dominant force in her life since she was 16.
During his isolation, he refuses to have any contact with women, preferring to receive help through objects that are thrown into his house. This information was revealed by a neighbor in an interview with the Afrimax channel.
Callixte, now elderly, expresses her feeling of comfort and contentment with her lifestyle, stating that she lives well the way she chose to live.
He emphasizes that he has no interest in getting involved with women, due to the fear he feels towards them and also because he has become accustomed to the situation.
Although he recognizes his fear, Nzamwita does not show a willingness to seek help or overcome this phobia, maintaining his isolation as the choice that makes him feel safe and calm. Who are we to judge him?
