Can someone who is a MEI and has a formal contract receive PIS and FGTS?
However, he failed to earn a real fortune in those two months in which the money remained in Caixa accounts. If he had withdrawn the amount on the first day after the draw and invested it in savings, today he would have more than R$850,000 in income alone.
The loss would be even greater compared to investment in a pre-fixed CDB at 12% per year. This option is easily found on investment platforms. If the value of the prize had been invested in this option, it would have yielded more than R$1.3 million in the period. This total already takes into account the income tax discount.
The winning bet was placed at the Rota da Sorte lottery, on Rua Alvorada, in the Asteca neighborhood, in Santa Luzia. The winner took home the jackpot with a simple game, in which he scored six tens and paid just R$5 for the ticket. According to estimates from the Box, the probability of winning the Mega-Sena top prize with a simple bet is one in more than 50 million.
However, there is a deadline for winners to redeem the prize. In the case of the winner from Santa Luzia, the redemption was requested approximately one month before the deadline expired. Caixa informed that the maximum period for withdrawing the prize is up to 90 days after the draw date.
After the end of this period, the amounts will be transferred to the National Treasury and will be applied to the Higher Education Student Financing Fund (FIES). As the player's request was made shortly before the end of the deadline, the amount will be paid in full to the winner in question.
