In addition to fixed discounts, Magalu will also have flash offers, called “Now or Never”. With it, promotions are offered exclusively on items that will not be cheaper on the last Friday of the month (24th), the official date of Black Friday. Thus, all of the retailer's categories are participating in the “Black das Blacks” promotions.
Purchases made during this period may be installments in up to 10 interest-free installments, with the possibility of free shipping on purchases over R$79 made through the app. Magazine Luiza's aim is to distribute offers throughout the month, increasing the consumer's possibilities of purchasing the desired product at a lower price.
For 2023, Magazine Luiza announced that it has prepared the largest fulfillment (logistical operation of the online store) to support Black Friday. “Compared to last year, the company expects to increase the volume of orders in this operation by seven times. There are more than two thousand sellers that use the company's distribution centers as stock and its sales already represent 15% of marketplace orders”, stated the company in a note.
With the investment made, the consumer will achieve several advantages, given the larger portfolio of products available. An average reduction of three days in delivery time is also expected, in addition to the lower cost charged by the freight.
Finally, Magazine Luiza aims to increase purchases across the retailer's purchasing channels with the new strategy adopted this Black Friday. “It stimulates sales while increasing the recurrence of purchases on Magalu channels” added the company.
