Given the 2 thousand vacancies that will be made available, proposals must be submitted through the Integrated CAPES system (Sicapes), whose schedule includes changes in the submission and results of technical and merit analyzes of proposals, in addition to the resources.

Open to the participation of public or private non-profit higher education institutions, the program establishes that each of them, in addition to having experience in the area, must offer 30 to 200 vacancies.
Online event ‘answer questions’ – At the end of October, representatives from Capes (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) from MEC offered a online workshop to clarify doubts about Notice nº 23/2023 of Parfor Equidade, which was attended by 370 people.
When highlighting the importance of Parfor, the general coordinator of Teacher Training and Valuation of Degrees at Capes, Lorena Damasceno, explained that the program, “which has been running since 2019, has already benefited almost 120 thousand teachers.” In her assessment, the time is now to invest in training aimed at underrepresented groups, such as indigenous people, quilombolas, bilingual special education and rural areas.
The main doubts about the issue were clarified, in addition to Lorena, by representatives of the Secretariat of Continuing Education, Literacy Youth and Adults, Diversity and Inclusion (Secadi/MEC) of the general coordinations of Education in the Countryside, Quilombola, Indigenous, Bilingual for the Deaf and Inclusive.
During the virtual event, the most relevant topics revolved around the creation of new courses, registration of proposals, possibility of accumulating scholarships, training professionals in bilingual education, offering second degrees, and issues regulations.
It was also agreed that all questions sent to Capes, the MEC and presented at the meeting will be collected in a FAQ (frequently asked questions), for later consultation on the Program's website. Additional questions about the notice can be sent to [email protected].
