Did you realize that the temperatures are rising more and more? The expectation is that in the next few days some places in Brazil will experience a thermal sensation of 50ºC. Therefore, it is necessary to use tools to alleviate the heat inside the house, especially in the bedroom – and at bedtime.
And, it's worth noting, no air conditioning. This is not a boycott or criticism of the equipment – after all, who doesn't like to enjoy a cold breeze and watch a good film? It turns out that it can be harmful to health if exposed to excessive amounts.

In an interview with Estadão, professor at the São Paulo Skin Institute, Danilo S. Talarico explained that air conditioning removes moisture from the air to make it colder. This ends up being a never-ending party for the bacteria that cause respiratory diseases.
Therefore, according to him, the ideal is to take it easy when using this great ally. Or use it accompanied by a humidifier.
Talarico points out that there are other ways to reduce the temperature of environments. One of them is to block the entry of sunlight using window film (when permitted) and curtains. He also suggests keeping windows and doors open to air out the room.
Other strategies mentioned by the doctor are the use of plants to decorate the environment, as they are great allies in regulating the temperature of the place. He also asks people to give preference to LED lamps over incandescent ones.
It's also a good idea to place wet towels and bowls of water around the room. This will help to moisten the environment and alleviate the air dryness. One detail, however, must be taken into consideration: towels at night can encourage the proliferation of mites and fungi.
Another idea is to place ice blocks in PET bottles with ice cold water. in front of the fan – taking care that the melting water does not reach the appliance and damage it.
