All jobs will be obsolete with Artificial Intelligence, says…
Starting December 1st, Google will delete all accounts that haven't been used in the last two years. To evaluate account activity, logging in, reading or sending emails, using Google Drive, downloading applications, searching and other interactions will be considered.
Therefore, accounts that do not show any of these activities in the last two years will be considered inactive. However, this measure only applies to personal accounts and does not apply to accounts linked to schools, organizations and employers.
Google Account policy states that “Google Account products Google reserve the right to delete your data when your account has not been used within that product for a period of 2 years.” In the company's official statement, the date established for the deletion of accounts was defined as “1st December 2023 is the earliest date a Google Account will be deleted due to this policy".
Accounts used to make purchases on the Google Play Store or that have a gift card with an active balance will not be deleted. So, if you have a Google account that you haven't used for a while and want to keep it, it's possible to log in before December 1st and move the account to prevent Google from delete.
