In short, the Nu Limite Garantido is a way for Nubank customers to get more credit on their cards by investing amounts in a specific bank product.

These products are the now famous “Boxes”, a investment fixed income based on a Bank Deposit Receipt (RDB), which has a yield equivalent to 100% of the CDI.

Beforehand, it is worth highlighting that all these operations must be done directly through NuConta, Nubank's digital account. Here's how it works:

1. Access your NuConta, go to the “Credit Card” section and then to the “My limits” menu.

2. Then, click on “No Limite Guaranteed” and create the investment box that will be the basis for the new limit. That's it, your limit has now been increased!

You can redeem the contribution money at any time, as long as the additional limit generated by the investment is not being used on the card.

It is also important to make it clear that only the amounts deposited are used as a limit. Proceeds do not go towards credit card limits.
