13th of the BPC: find out whether the benefit was released or not
Below are four very common attitudes among those with low emotional intelligence. If you identify with any of them, it's time to review your behavior and look for ways to evolve.
Take theirs “off the straight”
Part of maturing and realizing emotional intelligence is taking responsibility for your own problems. Those who have not yet masterfully mastered their emotions avoid blame for their actions and always transfer it to someone else. In this way, it is not possible to learn from mistakes or fully mature.
Holding a lot of regret
When something happens that leaves us very hurt, sad or possessed by someone, it's normal for us to need time to digest everything and move on with our lives. However, for those who do not have emotional intelligence the situation is different: they keep resentments until his last days of life, which is not good in any aspect of life.
Do not accept criticism
Criticism (when done appropriately, of course) is essential for our growth in any area of life. You need to know how to receive negative feedback appropriately and listen carefully to what the other person has to say. After all, it can make all the difference in our journey.
Avoid serious and difficult conversations
Just as responsibilities need to be taken seriously, so do the most difficult conversations. Those who do not have emotional intelligence (or have little) generally avoid this type of meeting. It's usually out of fear or not knowing how to deal with one's emotions during these situations. The problem is that without confrontation there is no growth, right?
