That's right: it is dissolved in the water that makes up this drink. With the bottle tightly closed, it is difficult to see because the pressure inside the container is high and, the higher it is, the more carbon dioxide dissolves in the drink. However, when we open the bottle, we reduce the pressure and, as a result, part of the carbon dioxide separates from the water, forming small bubbles, which are easy to see.
