I loved the proposed activities
Back to school is always awaited by students. Therefore, it is interesting that teachers look for activities to start classes. So, we've separated some ideas that can help make this moment even more interesting.
This activity teaches students to work as a team and the importance that each one of them has at the time of the dynamic.
Objective: Keep the balloons in the air as long as possible
Material needed: Colored balloons (one balloon for every five students)
Duration: 15 minutes
How to make:
After the teacher triggers a signal, students begin tossing full balloons for the group to keep them in the air;
The teacher begins to randomly remove a student from the game, until there are not enough children left who can keep their balloons in the air;
End the game by asking them to sit in a circle and discuss what they learned and understood from this activity.
Objective: To facilitate rapport, awaken cordiality, promote rapprochement among colleagues, or between them and new students.
Material needed: Tokens or badges with the names of participating children and a box to put the badges.
Running time: 15 minutes
How to make:
You need to put the badges in a specific box. Then the children sit in the circle and the teacher gets a whistle.
The box goes by and when the teacher blows the whistle, the student opens the box and takes a name tag and says a quality of the classmate chosen by name so the others can guess who it is.
Objective: verbal expression, reflection and logical argumentation ability.
Duration: 15 minutes
Way of doing:
In a circle, the beginner of the game should always come up with a phrase that starts with “it was good”…
The second should complete it, stating "but it was bad"...
The third will say “but it was good”, and so on.
Example sentences:
– It was good, Pedro got a dog from his uncle.
– But it was bad because the dog only eats and doesn't play.
– But it was good because Pedro managed to teach this dog.
– But it was bad because the dog ran away…
Take advantage of the tips above and let students have fun back to school.
