School activities about carnival

We prepare school activities for carnival, with pictures with interpretation, drawings to color about carnival, texts to interpret and activities about carnival to print. There are several suggestions for activities about Carnival, to apply to students.

Curiosity: In 1855 there was what was considered the first Carnival parade. A commission of intellectuals formed a block called “Congresso das Sumidades Carnavalescas”. Participants went to the palace of São Cristóvão to ask the royal family to watch the parade. Dom Pedro II accepted the invitation. The Rio de Janeiro police authorized the parade of blocks through the streets in 1889.
