NAME:
Tuti, the marmoset, arrives one morning on a large white ship. He jumps onto the dock while the sailors unload the cotton bales. Afterwards, he heads to the city.
He finds a pigeon that flies without answering him, a cat that wants to scratch him and a mouse that bites him!
– What a weird place! – says Tuti.
– And he begins to regret having left his friends so far away, in his homeland… Suddenly, near a bench, Tuti sees an old abandoned dog.
“I see you're coming from far away,” murmurs the dog. – Tell me your life in the land where you were born. I'll tell you mine on the mountain when he was a good sheepdog.
Since that day, one always finds in the streets of the old port a large naked dog, with an amusing marmoset on its back.
