Activities with as, es, is, os, us help the child to see the sound change from each vowel.
This activity has as its objectives:
Develop in the student their ability to write, read, understand and think consciously about their reality, using verbal and non-verbal language;
Master language structures, move from oral to written language;
Create new forms of expression and socialization.
Choose one of the vowels and write it on the blackboard. Then ask for words that have these syllables. Write the words on the blackboard.
Combine a syllable with the class and, every time the teacher speaks a combined word, students should manifest themselves, clapping their hands, for example, in order to interact in this way.
Write the words from the word bank on the board. Do collective reading and work on the meaning of each one. Then ask each student to circle the worked syllable.
Cut out words with the syllabic pattern under study from newspapers and magazines.
Work on the collective reading and the meaning of each one.
Write small texts on the blackboard to be read by the teacher, then ask them to recognize the syllabic pattern studied in the words.
Working the inversions:
Make a poster to put around the child's neck: A – E – I – O – U / and five “S” consonants.
Inviting five children to participate must be an activity.
Put the posters around the children's necks.
Read the family with the sound open and closed.
Then invite five more children and put the posters with the “r” around their necks.
Form the family: SA – SE – SI – SO – SU. (Do shared reading – open and closed family sound).
Then ask the children to change their position. AS– ES – IS – OS – U. (Do family shared reading).
