Sea turtles live in the four corners of the world, but they make a fantastic trip, from continent to continent, to return to the same beach where they were born to lay their eggs. But they are not the only ones to make long journeys in their lifetime. When autumn arrives in Canada, it is accompanied by cold. Then millions of monarch butterflies, living in this country or in the northern United States, fly into the forests of Mexico, miles away, where they find a warmer climate. How do migrating animals – sea turtles and monarch butterflies, for example – manage to make such long journeys without getting lost and finding the exact spot where they want to stay? This question is still a puzzle for scientists, who are advancing in discovering new pieces.
