Giving the hands

Dona Goreti and her daughter Taís were taking their dogs for a walk. Dora and Nina, when they saw a puppy walking in the middle of the street, in a zigzag pattern. They barely saw the animal, and… Zaz! A car passed over him, and he didn't even stop to help. Horrified, Tais ran to the little animal, who was a little dog. Luckily, she was alive, but the girl saw that there was some blood on her muzzle. Luckily, she had been under the car, between the wheels. Quickly, they returned to the apartment with the dog. When he arrived, he had wiped the blood from the animal's mouth, which was moaning and shaking a lot. Then they tried to call the nearest veterinary clinic, but it was already dark and closed. Meanwhile, Dora and Nina watched the movement around the puppy. And they seemed to understand that she was suffering. The next day, Seu Martinho took the animal to a veterinary clinic, and he had to stay in the hospital.

– How are we going to pay for the treatment of this little dog if we don't have enough money, Goreti? And if she has to stay many days at the clinic, what are we going to do? – asked Mr. Martinho.
“Don't worry,” Dona Goreti replied confidently.
– Let's find a way, look for help with other people who love animals. What matters now is that she is saved.
The money to pay for the treatment was quickly obtained, with fraternal collaboration among some friends. And so, already recovered, the little dog was removed from the clinic by a friend of Dona Goreti, to be taken, later, to a new home. Thus, thanks to the feeling of brotherhood that united several people of good will, the little animal was helped, treated and adopted. In addition to a new home, she gained a new name: Filó – and became a naughty, graceful and happy little dog.
