Teacher, we realize how common it is for school institutions to assume an idealized view that the “good family” is one in which people live in harmony, without fights, always cooperating with the school and effectively following his/her child. However, this expectation most often breaks down as educators face real people and conflicting family situations that reverberate in the classroom. We understand that one of the roles of the school, similar to what is expected of the family, is to create a context of learning between its members where there can be constructive interactions that collaborate with the development of the individual. We know that the school, in addition to playing the important role of providing students with contact with the culturally accumulated knowledge, provides favorable interactions for their affective, social and cultural. In this sense, considering that the beliefs and actions of educators towards the families of their students may have an unfavorable impact on the development of the student, it is necessary to create spaces in the classroom so that the reality of each student inserted in that student can be better known. context. We believe that working on issues related to the students' families can also collaborate with the children themselves, as it opens up opportunities for these, to express the different feelings experienced in the family relationship, find elements (resources) that help them to emotionally strengthen and deal with the conflicts present in the relationship familiar.
1st moment: Teacher, make available some images of different families for the children to initially observe. You can use the following images as a suggestion:

The images don't necessarily have to be a representation of your own family. 2nd moment: Ask students who, after observing such images, choose one that catches their attention: be because it looks like yours, or because it represents a family that the student would like to have, among others reasons.
3rd moment: After this stage, each student must present the reasons that led him/her to choose such an image. Teacher, it is suggested that at this time you encourage the student to talk about their own family by introducing them to their peers. Then, the teacher will give the students a sheet of bond paper, colored pencils, crayons and a pen asking them to draw themselves with their family, recording what each family member does best.

3rd moment: Teacher, at this moment, it is suggested that you propose to the students that, individually, they list in distributed forms some problems that they identify in their family life.
4th moment: Once this list has been made, the students must deliver the forms to the teacher so that the teacher shuffle them and redistribute them to the students so that they each get a list of one. co-worker. Try to identify in the students' speeches elements that reveal the appreciation of their own family. Assess respect for the other person's speech, as well as for the family life experiences reported by each participant.
