NAME:
A light rain is falling. Giraffe Giro is on the dock, watching Captain Vacôncia dock.
She waves to Giro and honks her horn.
– Hi, Giro. How are you? Want to get on board for a minute?
- Yea! Gosh! – Spin exclaims.
He runs up the ramp. As soon as he approaches Captain Vacôncia, she points to the sky.
– Look at that! It's a rainbow! You can see the beautiful colors: Red, orange, yellow, Green, blue, indigo, and indigo and violet!
Certainly, in the sky over Ilha Grande, there is a huge and perfect rainbow.
– Oh, my! - Whisper Giro. “It's a kind of magic in heaven,” he continues.
- Ah yes. It's really beautiful! – Captain Vacôncia agrees.
– You know, they say there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I better go back to Ilha Grande and see if I can find him.
– Is it true, Captain Vacôncia? – Asks Giro. – I would definitely like to find one. If I did, I would have enough to buy my own raft! I wish I had one just like the bell.
– She's really beautiful, isn't she? - Captain Vacôncia laughs.
- Hope you find your pot of gold soon, anyway. In the meantime, why don't you pull it? - She asks.
Giro pulls the rope down and the ferry whistle blows across the island.
– By the sacred cows! Errr… I mean… I'm sorry! – Giro is embarrassed.
- Smoothly! See you later, Giro! – Captain Vacôncia says goodbye, starting the engine while Giro runs back to the dock and says goodbye.
