NAME:

the witch who stole the sun

Once upon a time… An enchanted forest, where animals, gnomes, fairies, birds and all the other inhabitants of the forest lived in harmony.
At dawn, the animals came out of their holes in search of food.
The puppies were playing running in a big racket.
Birds brightened the forest with their songs.
The ones who had the most fun were the gnomes, who appeared and disappeared suddenly, making a mess.

To complete the enchantment of the forest, the sun rose slowly through the branches of the trees, reflecting off the water, providing a beautiful spectacle of light and heat. But not everyone was happy.
In a dark and cold cave lived an evil witch, who didn't like to see anyone happy; That's why he hated the sun, the heat it produced, the light it radiated, and the joy everyone felt when it appeared.
She loved the rainy days, the dark, the lightning, the thunder and the silence. It was then that she had a great idea… She decided to steal the sun, because it was the cause of her sadness. When the sun goes down at the end of the day, it weakens, loses its strength, its light, and goes to sleep. It was at this time that the witch grabbed the sun, which was weak and tiny, and placed it in a small black box and hid it in the cave.
The night was endless... The moon was tired from the light, the stars wanted to go away, but the sun didn't appear and she couldn't rest.
Then she started calling for him.
– SOL… SOLLL, show up, we're tired, come soon, we can't take it anymore!
And the sun doesn't appear.
It was then that the fairies decided to look for him. Realizing what had happened, the fairies gathered, lit the little stars of their magic wands and began to search for the sun. As they approached the witch's cave, they heard the shrill laughter and were sure she had hidden the sun. With so many lights all around her, the witch let out a moan and ran towards the mountains.
The fairies found the little black box and, when they opened it, the sun woke up, lighting up the whole earth again.
