Hot milk

– Can I leave the table? - The snake Silvia asks at the end of lunch. She wants to play with her little friends.
– Finish your milk, Silvia. After that you can - Answers Mother Snake smiling.
– But it's hot! - She complains. – There is only a little milk left in the glass.
– A second ago you… drank almost everything – Mom says.
– I don't like this bit in the glass – Silvia complains.
She keeps her mouth tightly shut.

– Silvia, let's not waste food. Please drink it all, or you won't play this afternoon – Mom says firmly.
Silvia knows the milk actually isn't hot.
She swallows it and makes a face, just for fun.
– Next time, drink to the last drop – Mom says, smiling at Silvia's stubbornness.
Mom did exactly the same thing when she was little. So she knows about it well.
