NAME:
Today all the residents are in the meadow. The sun is shining and luckily there is a nice breeze.
Friends are carrying kites with spools of string and talking excitedly. The hippopotamus Horacio runs across the meadow to make his kite fly higher and higher.
- Look there! – he shouts to the Babi sheep.
– It's pretty high. You are a good kite flyer! - She comments.
Giraffe Giro is releasing her new kite and doesn't notice Horacio coming to meet her. Horacio is coming fast, his eyes fixed on the kite.
– Watch out, Horacio! – Babi yells, but it's too late. Horacio bumps into Giro, and his friend falls on the grass.
– Ouch Ouch Ouch! - Spin moans. He is crushed under Horacio, who is very heavy.
– HUUUU-HO HO-HO-HO! HUUU, HO-HO-HO-HO! – Horacio laughs. He starts laughing so hard that I can't get up. Luckily, Giro is skinny, and with his long legs he crawls out from under Horacio.
- There is! There is! There is! – the other friends laugh, seeing the two friends tangled together.
And the two beautiful new kites on the ground on the far side of the meadow as the two friends unwind.
Kite season has started.
