"The Hunchback of Notre Dame"

A classic of French romanticism that goes far beyond the story of an impossible love. In 15th-century Paris, the gypsy Esmeralda dances in front of the Notre Dame cathedral. In front of its beauty, the poet Pierre Gringoire, the Archdeacon Claude Frollo, the misshapen bell ringer Quasimodo and Captain Phoebus de Châteaupers bow. The hunchback of Notre Dame, by Victor Hugo, portrays a still gothic Paris that witnesses the end of one era and the beginning of another. This edition features the full text and about 30 illustrations from the period. In its printed version, it features a hardcover and luxury finish.
