babi and the ghosts

The next morning, Babi returns to Mr. Ptero's shop with a large flashlight.
– Hello, Mr. Ptero! - She says excited.
– Good morning, Babi! - Mr. Ptero answers, anxious.
- Glad to see you. I don't want to go back to the basement alone.
The two go down the stairs.
Trrr! Trrr!
– Mr. Ptero, you definitely have a mysterious guest. What could it be? - Babi whispers.
Something white flies past them quickly.

– HIC! - Babi gets scared.
– Whoa! – Mr. Ptero shouts.
The two are trembling with fear.
- What is that? – Babi asks quietly. She flicks the flashlight over the racks of groceries.
Trrr! Trrr!
- Look! she screams as the light lands on something white, right on top of the top shelf.
Tiny black eyes blink in the light.
Mother Dove is looking at them from above her nest. Three newborn puppies stand out around her.
– Phew, you scared us! – Babi takes a deep breath, relieved. And she and Mr. Ptero burst out laughing.
