NAME:

beach treasure

Zebras Zig and Zag love to walk along the beach by the harbor, looking for treasure.
- Look at this! – exclaims Zig, picking up a beautiful stone – Maybe a diamond! – he exclaims.
- Wow! It's a beauty! – Zag gets carried away.
- What is that? - Asks Zag, pointing to something else - The emerald crown of some princess?
“Let's ask Mr. Ptero,” says Zig, and Zag nods.

Mr. Ptero is coming towards them in the sand. They show him the treasures.
– I think your stone is an agate, Zig. You are Zig, right? - he asks.
– Yes – she answers – So it's not a diamond?
“No, but it's a beautiful stone all the same,” Mr. Ptero says, continuing to examine it in his hands.
- It's mine? Isn't she pretty? – asks Zag.
Mr. Ptero laughs.
- Well, dear, yours is actually a piece of glass from a green bottle. It rolled in the sand and water for so long that it ended up smooth and polished.
Mr. Ptero returns the stone to her.
– So, actually, it's garbage, right? - Zig is furious.
– It's rubbish, but I agree it's really pretty. Pretty enough for a princess' crown.
