NAME:
Once upon a time, in a country far from ours, one day, without anyone knowing why, it stopped raining. Little by little, rivers, streams, streams, wells and springs dried up. And without anyone also knowing why, there was a large pool of water that was kept always full.
Gradually, all the animals in that forest began to move their house near the puddle. In the midst of them all came a smart-ass fox and a chubby rabbit. The fox thought right away:
– Hey, what a rich lunch! And I don't even need to get tired. Just stay here all lolled by the water and he comes to me.
And so it was. She stood guard by the puddle, preventing the rabbit from drinking water.
After a few days, our bunny friend was all dry. And she thought there with him:
– If I don't die in the fox's mouth, I die of thirst! I have to find a solution!
He thought… thought… and even found a way to deceive the fox.
He went next to a bee house, pushed... pushed and the hive fell. From inside, honey began to come out.
the bunny rolledup in honey and got all sticky. Then he went under a tree, which had many fallen leaves and rolled in them. He was completely masked.
The fox always on the lookout saw that strange animal arrive and was intrigued:
– What a weird animal! Will it be good to eat?
- Hmm! I don't think so. There's so much leaf! I don't like leaves at all. I'm going there to talk to him.
- Where are you from? she asked.
- From far away.
– And where you live there are many animals like you?
“Ha, ha,” and she continued to drink.
The bunny, when he was caught with a very full belly, thought:
– I don't know when I'll be able to get back here, the best thing is to take a shower.
He went into the water, but he forgot that the leaves in the water got soft and fell off.
– Oh! You rogue, did you think you would deceive me? Wait, I'll get you!
Tick, tick, tick… ran the bunny. Chuck, chuck, chuck… the water bounced in his belly.
Suddenly, an old tree with holes in the trunk appears in front of them.
The rabbit, very quickly, entered a hole and climbed inside the trunk. The fox crept into there and was trapped, neither entering nor leaving. Our little friend, jumped to the ground, went to the kicking fox and gave it a brave bite on the tail, while saying:
– Here, well done, to leave me alone! The water on earth must be for everyone.
The fox, only the other day, and after a lot of pulling, managed to get out, but it was all scratched up. The lesson was left to him and he never ran after the bunny again.
