Simple Past Tense is used to describe an action that happened in the past and that has already ended. To mention this past tense we must use expressions such as:

There are generally two classifications for past English verbs: regular verbs (regular verbs) and irregular verbs (irregular verbs). Regular verbs receive the ending -ed. Review a list of the main regular verbs:
