Giro's helper day

Giro the giraffe is very excited! He's wearing an orange life jacket for his helper's day with Captain Vacôncia on the bell raft.
– All right, Giro. Blow our whistle with a very long blow and then three short ones – Captain Vacôncia says. – The long whistle lets everyone know we're leaving the dock. The three short ones indicate that we are coming back.
Spin grabs the rope and pulls it hard. Tuuuuuuu! Then he pulls three times, quickly. Tuuu-Tuuu-Tuuu!

- Excellent! – says captain Vacôncia – We're leaving.
She looks around to make sure no one is in the way, and moves the raft away from the dock. The engine keeps turning the water.
“You can drive for a while,” Captain Vacôncia says.
Giro's eyes widen. He takes a small turn in the gigantic direction. The raft moves smoothly to the right.
- Wow! Never thought I could drive a ferry! he yells over the low roar of the engine.
Captain Vacôncia laughs.
– All right, we're here. Blow a long whistle to let everyone know we're docking.
Tuuuuuuuu!
– Today is one of the best days of my life! – Giro celebrates.
