NAME:
When I grow up I don't want to be a doctor, engineer or teacher. I don't want to work from morning to night, whatever. I want to play from morning to night whatever. When I grow up, I want to be a player.
So they know: I'm not going to school to learn to be a doctor, engineer or teacher. I have more to think about and so much more to do. I have so much to play, as a player plays, much more to dream, as a dreamer dreams, and also to imagine, as an imaginer imagines...
My mother says it can't be, that it's not a grown-up profession. And then he adds, sighing: "That's life." It costs so much to believe. People who are capable, who were once girls and boys too, but can no longer play.
Life is like this? Not for me. When I grow up, I want to be a player. Play and grow, grow and play, until death comes knocking on my door. On my grave they will write: "Here lies a player." He was a simple and dedicated man, very given, who got up early every morning to go play with words.
