NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is a United States Federal Government agency responsible for research and development of exploration technologies and programs space. Its official mission is to “foster the future in space research, discovery and exploration”. NASA was created on July 29, 1958, replacing its predecessor, the NACA - National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. NASA was responsible for sending man to the moon (see project Apollo) and for several other space research programs. It currently works together with the European Space Agency, the Russian Federal Space Agency and some other countries in Asia to create the International Space Station.
Imagine that you were invited to Mars at NASA's invitation to spend an entire day there and describe everything you experienced! Yes, I know we have no idea what the place is like. That's where your imagination will enter to describe this incredible trip that has never been done. Bon Voyage!
