After observing himself in the waters of a stream, the peacock went to the owl to lament:
– Mistress Owl, the lady who is wise, tell me why I don't have a beautiful corner like the nightingale?
The owl then replied:
– Don't be angry, peacock! Watch your feathers, how beautiful they are!
– But what good are beautiful feathers, I wanted to sing! - Said the peacock.
