Another children's work by Clarice Lispector hitting shelves in hardback and with new illustrations, twelve brazilian legends – how the stars were born brings together national folk stories, one for each month of the year, recounted by one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. The story that gives the book its name, for example, tells how, in a village, mischievous curumins gave rise to "fat bright stars." The new edition, illustrated by the artist Suryara, it also brings the introductory text “The strength of the dream”, included in the calendar in which the stories were published, in 1977, and unpublished in book.
