NAME:

game interrupted

The game was heating up. Catapimba caught the ball. He passed by Maneco, deceived Chico, dribbled Firmeza. Everyone thought:
– This time it's a goal.
What nothing. When he was right in front of the goal…
– Prriiiiii!!
Everyone fell on Armandinho:
– Judge thief!
– Armandinho was even stuttering:
– N-No, p-people, it wasn't me!
– So who was it?
– I don't know who did it, I just know who didn't!
– Maybe it was a ghost.
In this, everyone heard:

– Hey!
– Did you hear? It was not me!
- Who was? Who wasn't?
Seu Manuel started to laugh. He laughed so hard he even choked. Nobody understood anything. Seu Manuel pointed to his house, and laughed, laughed. Catapimba decided to go see what was going on. He jumped over Manuel's wall and… There was the whistleblower! Manuel's parrot, Bicão, with the most innocent face in the world, looked at the Catapimba and…
– Hey!
Didn't the parrot, from hearing us play, had learned to whistle? That day we couldn't even finish the game. Everyone was laughing so hard that we had to postpone our departure until the next day. Your Manuel's parrot is now our mascot.
