It was on an electrical wire that Pit met Dora the swallow.
“You look tired,” I told him. – Coming from far away?
“From Morocco, and I made the trip in just three days,” she replies, all out of breath.
Pit the pigeon and Dora the swallow talked for a long time about their travels. Pit brought messages from the countries of the North, where the glacial wind blows and snow covers the countryside. Dora described to him the landscapes of red earth she had flown over, the fields of olive trees and mimosas…
Suddenly, Pit exclaimed:
– It's decided, I abandon my postman profession! We'll meet right here at the end of summer, I'll go with you in search of the sun!
Dora said nothing; he went quietly to squat down with his handsome postman.
