A student (of legal age) was sentenced by the courts to pay compensation to his teacher in the amount of R$ 10 thousand. For throwing a banana peel at her.
In the process, the student even said that he was joking and had no intention of hitting the teacher. But the judge of law of the Special Civil Court of Bragança Paulista Juan Paulo Haye Biazec understood that the student's attitude and lack of respect affected the most important attributes of the teacher's personality, exposing her to ridicule precisely in the environment where she must have the necessary authority to teach and to educate. Two more students were also convicted for providing untrue information.
Undoubtedly, this victory is not only for this teacher, but for all teachers who suffer more and more from disrespect on the part of students (and parents).
Look at part of the judge's sentence: “Any effort by the government to improve education in the country will fall apart if students are not willing to learn. A large part of the teachers' demotivation, and this, of course, must also be attributed to the attitude of our young people. Regrettably, a culture proliferates in the country in which being studious and hardworking is not worthy of admiration, what is surprising is being roguish and insolent”.
The Acessaber team congratulates Mr. Judge Juan Paulo Haye Biazec for this sentence that should serve as an example, as today mainly the high school teachers work in fear, of real delinquents in the classroom, suffering all kinds of aggression, both physical and psychological.
