Garbage needs to be separated according to its characteristics. Therefore, each color represents a type of discard. Blue is for paper and cardboard, while red is for plastic. Glass should be disposed of in the green collector and metal objects in yellow. Not over yet! Black is for wood, white is for hospital waste, and purple is for radioactive waste. We also have orange, for hazardous waste, such as batteries; the brown collector is for organic matter; and gray for contaminated material that cannot be recycled.
