NAME:

the paradise island

In an old house by the sea, hundreds of rats lived. Every night, they would gather in a barn to listen to grandma rat, who would tell them wonderful stories. One of them, above all, pleased Mili, the white rat.
She spoke of an island, across the ocean, where a cat had never been.
Mili dreamed of seeing this beautiful region, but how to cross the ocean?
– I have an idea – his pelican friend tells him – Climb on my beak and I'll take you to this Paradise Island.

– Take me too… Me too… Me too… – Scream the other rats.
And since then, every morning, when the sun rises, the pelican flies, with its beak loaded with rats, to Paradise Island…
