Historically and sociologically, games in general play a very important role: they are essentially revealing elements of civilizing characteristics, that is, through the history of the game we can know a lot about the society in which it is practiced. Philosopher Plato was one of the first to fully recognize the formative and disciplinary value of games. He notes that the rules can only be changed for children up to six years old.
From then on, the rules should remain fixed, unchanged, because if they got used to the changes in the laws of the game, the young people would also want to experiment with changes in the city's laws, which, according to Plato, would be very dangerous for the democracy.
