Things have changed a lot in terms of what we feel is necessary to do ________ keep our children safe. An example: only 10% of American children go to school alone these days. Even when taking the bus, they are taken by their parents to the vehicle's door. It got to the point where vacancies were put up for sale that give the father the right to park the car right in front of the door when taking and picking up the children. Parents think they are great because they spend a few hundred dollars on their children's safety. But what have you really done for your child? If your child is in a wheelchair, you will want to park in front of the door. This is the place normally reserved for people with disabilities. So you assured your healthy child the chance to be treated like an invalid. This is considered an example of parenthood today.
